Watch a movie from rapidshare without downloading all the parts

1. You have a movie you want to download and watch from Rapidshare, but you don't want to wait the 10 hours to download all parts.
2. You want 2 check out the quality of the movie without downloading all the parts.
Here's what you do

1) Download part 1 of the rar archive.

2) Once downloaded, right click on it, on the drop down menu select
"Extract files..."

3) On the menu that comes up, check "Keep broken file".

4) Hit OK, it will start to extract (enter a password if needed) and once it gets to part 2 you will get the normal error message.


5) Hit cancel, close, etc. Get the boxes out of the way.
6) There will be a new folder on your desktop, or where ever you choose to extract to, containing the folder and the first 15 minutes or so of the movie. You can watch part 1 while part 2 is downloading, etc.
This is also helpful for checking the quality of movies.

Bypass megaupload download limits!

Within two minutes you will learn how to bypass Megaupload download limits. There are a lot of other ways out there but they really never work. This method works 100% of the time.

1:-Go to your Megaupload link and put in the phrase to get your download ticket.
2:-When you can finally download, instead of clicking on the download button, right click and copy the address. you should get something like "http://www31.megaupload.com/files/3a554bac9ee2aab4fe6dfba60d093acd/GTA%20Vice%20City%20Stories%20commandoboy.rar". 3:-Next, go to hidemyass.com or any other proxy out there. simply type in that address that you copied and go to it.
4:-Finally, you just have to rename the extension to what ever it was(whenever i tried, it has the extension .php) in this case, it would be .rar
5:-And voilla!!! You download is ready!

How to create an invisible folder

With this you can create and invisible folder that you can put on your desktop or withing another folder. You can't see it but if you know where it is you can double-click it and view its contents. So here it is:

1. Right click where ever you want the invisible folder to be, go to new, then click on folder.
2. Turn numberlock on, select the name, and hold Alt and press 0160, then release Alt. This should make a character that looks like a space, but it isn't.
3. Now right click the folder you just made and go to properties. Then go to the Customize tab. Then press the Change Icon button. Scroll through the icons until you find one that has no image (a blank space in the icons, any one will do).
4. Hit OK and you have an invisible folder!

Now you can put anything you want in there... If you can't find it, just select the entire folder/desktop and there will be a little blue rectangle below the invisible icon (the folder).

NOTE: If you put it on your desktop it might show the folder for a second or two upon startup. For this reason I recommend putting it inside another folder.

Hack Megashare. Download like a premium user

Megashare only allows you to download 250 mb. But here is a simple trick to hack megashare and download like a premium user. All you would need is Internet Download Accelerator

Follow the steps:

1:-Download and install Internet Download Accelerator.

2:-Patch it with this file.

3:-Go to Megashares, and right click the download link and copy it.

Now, add this link to the manager

Hit Start...

And watch your download. When you reach your 250 limit, hit pause.

Then, go back to your megashares page and it'll ask you to reactivate your download passport. Just type in the numbers and reactivate it. Then it will say how much time you have before you can resume your download. Once that time is up (you can keep hitting refresh to get an updated time), refresh the page one last time, and go back to your download manager. Hit "resume" and your download will continue.
Just do this every 250 MB and you'll have your download complete in no time. Another good thing is that Internet Download Manager speeds up your download, so it wont be as long as you think.

How to increase your Hard Disk speed

To speed up your hard disk speed we need to configure a special buffer in the computer's memory in order to enable it to better deal with interrupts made from the disk.
This tip is only recommended if you have 256MB RAM or higher.

Follow these steps:
1:-Run SYSEDIT.EXE from the Run command.
2:-Expand the system.ini file window.
3:-Scroll down almost to the end of the file till you find a line called [386enh].
4:-Press Enter to make one blank line, and in that line type
Irq14=4096
Note: This line IS CASE SENSITIVE!!!
5:-Click on the File menu, then choose Save.
6:-Close SYSEDIT and reboot your computer.

Done. Speed improvement will be noticed after the computer reboots.

You have been using Google Search for many years now, but do you know all of the tips and tricks to fully utilize it amazing search service?

1- Get the local time anywhere

What time is it in Bangkok right now? Ask Google. Enter simply what time is it to get the local time in big cities around the world, or add the locale at the end of your query, like what time is it hong kong to get the local time there.

Google's powerful built-in converter calculator can help you out whether you're cooking dinner, traveling abroad, or building a PC. Nifty Calculator in FireFox

This is a neat little function that Patrick just discovered in FireFox. If you are ever in the need of a quick calculator, and have FireFox open, this could be useful. All you need to do is begin typing an equation in the web search form in FireFox, and it will display an answer where it normally suggests search terms. Pretty cool. Another reason to switch from IE!

Startup Delayer

Does your PC start slowly? Does it take forever for Windows to start after you press the start button? Well you are not alone, this problem is faced by many people all over the world (including me).

So what do you do?

You install Startup Delayer.

What does it do?

When Windows loads it's Startup file, it attempts to load every program in there at the same time. Therefore if you have quite a lot of programs starting when Windows starts, each program will try and grab CPU time so that it can load.
If each program tries to do this at the same time, you soon notice the slow down that occurs, due to your CPU trying to help all the programs to load, and your hard disk accessing multiple files.

Startup Delayer allows you to setup how many seconds after Windows has started, to load each program.

For Example:
If you have your mail program and a special clock starting up, then you can make your mail start say 10 seconds after Windows has loaded, and then the special clock start 20 seconds after Windows Starts.
